Now that the thief developer Eidos Montreal is resurrected the series Deus Ex, it takes it to the next generation of consoles and more with Deus Ex: the universe.
Deus Ex: the universe starts with a PC-next-gen, but also extends to the greater world franchise that Eidos Montreal is creating.
"The concept of Deus Ex: the universe is to create, expand and connected games the world built by the generation of core games," writes David Anfossi, head of studies Eidos Montreal in a blog post. "This is a commitment on our part to provide meaningful content that extends the franchise on a regular basis and provide deep, which will include a few Deus Ex on connected games, creating a more immersive and richer experience than ever before. "
Anfossi goes to say, that make the universe extends to tablets, smartphones, books and other media and platforms. Eidos Montreal is developing the next-generation game, but gave not Anfossi, if it will handle some of these other projects.
The first graphics in the game (click on the image below for an enlarged version) presents one of the themes of the universe: "trans humanism segregation." Here is a group of people have created their own enclaves and "modified their environment, pining for their perfect Cyber Renaissance."
No release time frame has been given for the next-gen PC/Deus Ex: game Universe.

Our take:
I hope that the Publisher Square Enix is determined to see this project through to the end, because, on a large scale of Deus Ex, the world is exciting.
