The good news is that Xbox Live Gold membership will be free this weekend in a number of countries, including the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The bad news is that this means that even more people are going to be trying to play Grand Theft Auto Online.
From October 4 to 6 you will be able to play online and get access to the services of gold usually reserved for paying members. This includes Netflix streaming and multiplayer.

Our take
My fingers are firmly crossed that Rockstar is able to equalize the load on the server for Grand Theft Auto Online. This title is the most likely target for Silver members. Maybe Microsoft should have given it one week.
