Mythic announced today on the anniversary of five year issue that Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will be taken offline. The service will be disabled on the 18 December 2013.
According to a post on the official website of Warhammer Online subscription closing title is linked to the conclusion of a license agreement with Games Workshop. In addition to the notification producer Carrie Gouskos shared her thoughts about the history of games, updates, which never came to fruition, and even MOBA-as the title that never made it out of beta.

Our take
It's always sad when the Community loses games, which are already poured so much time and money on. By the end of the applicable license and subscription MMO market increasingly difficult may be hard for EA to continue.
Regardless of the reasons for the closure notice on title 5 year anniversary is unfortunate. Also not the best way for Andrew Wilson his first full day as President of the EA.
