Late last week it turned out that criterion, the minds behind the Burnout series, black, and, more recently, two well-received entries, need for speed has streamlined its operations. Studio now employs 17 people, of other employees, now with the spirit of the games, the team behind the upcoming Need for Speed: rivals.
Tweets from the criterion of creative director Alex Ward last week affirm the criterion for health and the reason for the reduction. This is our report in April (also tweets Ward) another title of this criterion will not be racing game.
Ward notes that his explanation on Twitter of the words for EA. "we are fortunate to be part of a large organization, which collects and invests in new intellectual property," he writes. "It's really not the evil empire."

Our take
There are three takeaways from this story. The first is that the parking staff criterion allows the Studio to develop your next project with a small group before bringing on new workers. Keeping things small in the early stages will keep costs manageable.
The second is that Need for Speed rivals is in good hands, with many developers with criteria plays a role in its creation. It will probably still feel the Most Wanted and pursuit.
Finally, the EA is giving the criterion of a chance to do something entirely new. For all the heat, you, the Publisher may have forced the criterion to work for rivals, comparisons in such a way that Ward clearly did not want to. Instead, it gave him and his team, to try something new. I'm looking forward to see what else they come up with.
